Our classic ‘Bordeaux blend’ is made with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot. The relatively high percentage of Cabernet Franc may very well be contributing to the sweet floral and cherry-fruit dominant aromas. The palate too exhibits sweet confectionary cherry fruit together with lots of spice flavours. The tannins are ultra-fine and the intensity on the finish is exemplary. Think: Sunday Roast with Garlic Potatoes. Panel tasting notes: Nice wine. Movie and pizza night for me!
