Did you say dessert!? Oh goodness, I usually am so full by the time the thought of eating dessert comes into my mind, that it generally doesn’t make it in my mind so instead of eating a dessert, I opt to drink one instead!
I usually go for a Muscat or Borrytis to give me the feeling that I’ve had dessert. However, for those rare times that I do in fact have room for dessert, you really can’t go wrong with these options as well. On a warm day, give a Tokay a shot, on ice, it’s amazing and almost tastes like you’re having an iced tea!
Oh, and before I forget, if you have a sweet moment, grab the Tim-Tam’s out and dip one into a glass of Tawny… then bite one end of the Tim Tam (while it’s still dipped in) and drink the wine through the Tim Tam… it is nothing short of amazing and a very easy way to enjoy a glorious chocolate treat with a glorious sticky wine.
