This wine was made from Pinot Noir fruit sourced from premium Yarra Valley vineyards: Hexham (Soumah's home vineyard) and Upper Ngumby (located just outside of Yarra Glen). This Pinot Noir has an attractive garnet colour and delivers cherry and raspberry fruit profile along with savoury fleshiness. The barrel ageing develops the rich flavour and aroma of the wine. A good portion of new barrels (20% new oak) adding classic soft oak characters and improving overall integration.
